The Paperback by Studio Parade is more than just a bookshelf, it is an architectural statement.
This playful wall system combines functionality with graphic appeal. Its slim shelves create a rhythmic vertical pattern, turning books and objects into a lively display. The way you fill the shelves ultimately defines its visual effect.
Paperback can be used as a standalone unit or combined horizontally and/or vertically to create a wall-spanning system. The back panel of the Paperback is mounted directly to the wall, after which thirteen sturdy shelves are easily inserted into place. Three of these shelves feature a special "tab", making them perfect for displaying larger books or magazines.
For more than a century, Pastoe has shaped Dutch living through clarity of form, honest materials and furniture made to endure. Founded in 1913 in Utrecht, Pastoe grew from a humble workshop into a design house known for pieces that are as functional as they are timeless. Pastoe’s collection is built on icons. Today, the collection brings together timeless pieces by pioneers like Cees Braakman and Aldo van den Nieuwelaar, now joined by iconic designers such as Gerrit Rietveld and Martin Visser, who embody the same spirit of clarity, craftsmanship and innovation. Together, these pieces stand as a living legacy of Dutch design – a conversation between past and present, crafted for the way we live today. Guided by a pioneering spirit and a belief in design that lasts, Pastoe continues to honor its heritage while shaping the future of modern interiors.
